Enclosed box body
Protection from the weather. Check door clearance and manoeuvring space.
Identify the configuration and body type before comparing options. Actual capacity depends on the vehicle, its tare weight, the operation and the route.

Dimensions, volume and payload are approximate commercial references. Gross weight includes the vehicle and cargo; it is not payload. Confirm vehicle approval, tare, axle limits and route restrictions with your carrier.

Selecting a vehicle loads its indicative values. Replace them with your unit’s actual internal dimensions, authorized gross weight and tare.
Profile volumes are rounded. The calculation uses full dimensions and may therefore differ. Initial tare is derived from the example and must be replaced with actual tare. Axle distribution and vehicle approval may reduce allowable payload.
Protection from the weather. Check door clearance and manoeuvring space.
Temperature control depends on the equipment and service booked. Confirm temperature, airflow and loading requirements.
Side or top access depending on configuration. Check covers, securing points and acceptance of the goods.
Transports a compatible intermodal unit. Confirm length, locks, weight and route requirements.
Share the origin and destination, outer dimensions of each item, total weight, quantity, stacking requirements, date and available loading equipment. Ask the carrier for the actual vehicle’s usable dimensions and authorised capacity.
This guide does not assign legal capacities by commercial name or replace checks on axle weights, road restrictions or special cargo permits.
